The ASC hosted an in-person session on October 27, 2025, to equip attendees with essential knowledge to navigate the proposed Multilateral Instrument 45-111 Self-Certified Investment Prospectus Exemption.
This proposed multilateral instrument is available on the ASC website and is open for comment until January 5, 2026.
Attendees gained insight into the policy objectives behind the exemption, how it differed from existing exemptions, and the practical implications for issuers and investors in Alberta.
This session was designed for legal practitioners advising clients on capital-raising activities under this framework who could contribute feedback during the comment period.
